Formation of Subject Clubs
To motivate the students to participate in activities with greater involvement different clubs are formed in the school.
INAUGURATION OF BASHA BHARATI – LITERARY CLUB:
On the auspicious day of Ratha Sapthami (22-Jan-2010) Bhasha Bharati Literary Club was inaugurated officially during our school assembly. The Chief Guest of the day was Prof. M.Muralidhara Sharma, from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati.
He addressed the students in all the four languages and emphasized on the importance of developing communications skills like Sri Hanuman. He stressed on the LSRW (i.e.) Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing which are essential skills for our personality development. He advised the students to enrich their vocabulary by reading books.
The objectives of club were presented by G. Shanti Reddy which were to encourage students to enhance their soft skills, build confidence in communicative skills. It would aim to learn the art of living better. The children of class VIII presented a cultural programme by enacting a skit in Sanskrit which brought the qualities of a good speaker followed by a song in Sanskrit highlighting the importance of friendship.
As a part of literary club activity, Ratha Saptami was celebrated with messages given on the significance of the day. A sloka and a song in praise of the sun God was recited. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. R. Vanisree.
INAUGURATION OF SOCIAL SCIENCE CLUB:
Social science club was inaugurated on 26th January, 2010 on the momentous occasion of the Republic day. The club has been named ‘HOPE‘, keeping in mind the proposed activities that would focus on creating a clean and free environment, community awareness etc.
The chief guest of the day Sri.E.Phalguna kumar, Charttered accountant & Hon. Auditor of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Tirupati Formally declared the opening of the club after a small presentation by the students highlighting the aims of club. ‘Hope‘ stands for Humanity, Oneness, Patriotism and Environment.
INAUGURATION OF SOCIAL SCIENCE CLUB:
The Math club “Mathe Magicka” was augurated on 29-Jan-2010 by Prof S.Ramakrishna, S.V.University, Tirupati. The Students of VIII bought out the glimpses of branches of mathematics and work of famous mathematicians. They also highlighted the use of each branch of math in daily life.
An Incident from the great Indian Mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan was enacted by the students. They also presented the objectives of the club- to encourage students to enhance their metal ability and build confidence in problem solving skill.
INAUGURATION OF SCIENCE CLUB:
“Quest” the science club was inaugurated on 5th February 2010 by the Y.S.N.Rao, Bhavans Educational Consultant of A.P. Objectives of the club was read out by Mrs Sunanda. Importance of scientific nomenclature was brought forth by the students of class VIII.
They gave the scientific names of some plants along with their English and Vernacular names, which was very informative. Mr. Y.VN.Rao, in his valuable speech said that science is a unique subject because it needs ‘keen observation’. He also appreciated the school for providing healthy environment to all the students for their holistic environment.
