Welcome to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya, Tirupati was inaugurated by Sri C. Subramaniam, former President, on the 2nd June 1990 in the presence of Sri S. Ramakrishnan, then Executive Secretary and Director General of the Bhavan and other eminent personalities of Bhavan and of the temple town.

Started functioning with 125 students from classes Kinder Garten to 3rd in 1990, subsequently, every year one class was added up to Class X. Today, the Vidyalaya has become a full fledged secondary school with a strength of 2000 students.

To adopt flexible and innovative teaching learning strategy according to the ability and needs of students, to augment the minimum level of learning of learner to 50 percent. To improve the participation of students in sporting activities for better physical fitness, IQ and EQ. To sensitize the students to make their contribution towards the larger cause of humanity in thought, expression and approach.

BHAVAN'S FACILITIES

There are no stones left unturned to meet the contemporary standards of education. The school campus is spread over an area of 10 acres in the heart of the twin cities and houses well-ventilated, spacious classrooms that allow free movement of the child. These classrooms are adequately furnished with tables, desks, and all electrical fittings.
