Children’s Day Celebration

The Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November 2022 by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s, Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya, Tirupati in the school auditorium, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.

During the morning assembly, Dr. N. Satyanarayana Raju, Hon. Director & Treasurer, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, paid floral tribute to the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

To mark celebrations, children came in jubilant colourful dresses. Various competitions were conducted for the children on this occasion and prizes were given to the winners. Speaking on this occasion, Dr. N. Satyanarayana Raju wished the children and congratulated the prize winners. He further added saying that Children’s Day is celebrated in memory of the birth anniversary of Sri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He lauded Nehru as a great leader who laid the foundation for the economic development of the country besides being a visionary. He recalled the day i.e. November 14, 1988, when the Noble thought for the establishment of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Tirupati was seeded.

Various Cultural Programmes were organized by the teachers. National Human Rights Commission award winning short films were shown to children of Primary classes to create awareness regarding Human Rights as recommended by C.B.S.E. The programme was witnessed by Teachers and students. Sweets were distributed to Students.
