On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Independence Day, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.V. Vidyalaya celebrated the historic event with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the hoisting of the Indian Flag by Dr. N Satyanarayana Raju, Hon. Director and Treasurer accompanied by the rendition of the National Anthem, filling the air with a deep sense of unity and pride.
In her address, Principal Smt. A Vani Sree highlighted the significance of the day. Our Nation achieved its Independence as a result of the relentless efforts of Freedom Fighters. This occasion serves as a reminder of our duty to contribute significantly to our Nation’s Development. Education encompasses not only academic achievements but also the cultivation of empathy and values. She encouraged the students to develop the spirit of innovation, grab the opportunities, and to commit ourselves to serve our country. Together we can overcome challenges, embrace patriotism, and strengthen unity.
The Honorable Director, speaking on the occasion, emphasized that India has commemorated 75 years of the Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, and our existence today is a result of the sacrifices made by our Freedom Fighters who fought for complete Swaraaj. India’s progress has been guided by the vision of our leaders and the current generation must strive not only for educational excellence but also imbibe the values of modernization, Culture and Heritage, for the Nation’s prosperity.
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat exhibition, an initiative crafted to nurture interaction and promote mutual understanding between the communities of Andhra Pradesh and Assam was displayed on the school premises. The exhibition creatively showcased their unique cultures and traditions of the two states.
Students of Class XI and XII presented a Cultural Programme which made the audience spellbound.
Amidst a sea of fluttering tri-colours, children in the audience enthusiastically waved their flags, painting a vibrant tapestry of patriotism and excitement.
The celebration concluded with the proposal of Vote of Thanks by School Head Boy B. Ganesh Priyavardhan (XII A).
